May I talk to you?" her canine companion standing faithfully by her side. (continues in comments) I said, "Sure! Besides, the events haven't started yet, and only after all that, is when people usually start coming to speak to me (as animal communicator)." I went down on bended knee to meet the woman and her dog face to face and then continued asking, "What's on your mind?" The woman went on explaining as she pointed to the dog at her side, "You see, I trained this dog, Stan, as well as many other canines to assist the handicap. That was my profession. Stan was supposed to go to another family, and just as I had almost finished training him, I got in this accident and well, as you can see," she looked down at her legs. I smiled and said, "and you wanted to know?" "I know it seems selfish, but does Stan mind?" she stopped abruptly to brush away a tear dropping from her eye past her cheek as she looked away to glance at the dog still sitting at her side. She took a another deep breath and continued "Does Stan mind that I kept him for myself?" finally mustering the determination to finish. I put my hand on her hand resting on her knee, "No, not at all. But let me let him speak for himself." ...and when I closed my eyes, I was in a movie theatre watching footage, still pictures, listening to music, presenting like an overture..., after which I reopened my eyes. "He says two things and it's all about time. Firstly, Whitney Houston's song, "Give me one moment in time," meaning being with you was destiny, a chance to be all that he's meant to be, and he's grateful for being that in your life." The woman smiled, "My favorite song, a CD my daughter bought for me recently," she reached over with gratitude and rubbed Stan behind the ears. "And one more thing," I continued. "That movie, 'Somewhere In Time?' With the actor who...oh, my God had an accident too!" I zoned out for a second, but "came back" to her in the reading to see if she was familiar with the reference. She looked away and said, "My company was affiliated with Christopher Reeve." "But go on.." she almost sat at the edge of her wheel chair. I continued, "You and Stan have been together before. You helped him and now it's his turn to help you." "Oh really?" she said with genuine relief. "A favorite movie." I stood up and said, "One day soon, you'll realize once again, that you're one of the luckiest women in the world. All you need is time."
